In a nutshell: By using NutriScan AI, you agree to these terms. The app is a nutritional support tool — it does not replace a doctor or professional nutritionist. You remain responsible for your food and health choices.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the NutriScan AI mobile application (the "App") and the website nutriscanai.net (the "Site"), published by:

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms without reservation. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Service description
NutriScan AI is an AI-powered nutrition tracking mobile app, offering the following features:
- Meal photo scanning with automatic AI nutritional analysis
- Food product barcode scanning
- Macronutrient tracking (proteins, carbs, fats, calories)
- Weight tracking and history
- Body progress photos (optional)
- Meal Health Score
- Personalized reminder notifications
- Multi-device cloud sync
- Available in 12 languages
3. Account creation
Using NutriScan AI requires creating an account with a valid email address. Authentication is done via:
- Magic Link sent by email (passwordless)
- OTP code (6-10 digits, alternative to magic link)
- Sign in with Apple (recommended for privacy)
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your email inbox and your Apple ID. NutriScan AI does not store any passwords.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Premium subscription
The App uses a freemium model:
4.1. Free version
- 3 AI scans per day
- Access to all basic features
- Unlimited weight and manually entered meals tracking
4.2. Premium subscription
- Monthly: €9.99 / month
- Yearly: €34.99 / year (with 3-day free trial for new users)
- 20 AI scans / day (Monthly Premium)
- 15 AI scans / day (Yearly Premium, with server rate-limit of 50/day)
- All features unlocked
Subscriptions are managed via Apple In-App Purchase through your App Store account. They renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
5. Cancellation and refund
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple account settings:
- iPhone Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions
- Select NutriScan AI
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple per their policy. To request a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com.
For European users, a 14-day withdrawal right applies under certain conditions (unless the service began with your consent).
6. Restore purchases
If you change iPhone or reinstall the app, your active subscription can be restored via the "Restore Purchases" button in the app settings, using the same Apple ID.
7. Responsible use and health warnings
⚠️ Important: NutriScan AI is a nutritional tracking tool, not a substitute for professional medical advice.
- AI analysis may have margins of error on portion and calorie estimates
- Recommendations are general and do not account for specific pathologies
- Consult a doctor or nutritionist for any medical condition, allergy, or specific diet
- NutriScan AI does not diagnose or treat any disease
- If you experience eating disorders, contact a health professional
8. Intellectual property
The App, its design, code, logo, and all content are the exclusive property of Clyse NZE and are protected by French and international copyright law.
You obtain a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App.
Photos and data you enter remain your property. You grant us a limited license to process them to provide the service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Clyse NZE shall not be liable for:
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI nutritional analysis
- Health consequences of using the App
- Temporary service interruptions (maintenance, server outages)
- Data loss following account deletion by the user
- Use not in compliance with the Terms
The App is provided "as is", without express or implied warranty.
10. Service and Terms changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or remove features at any time
- Modify pricing (with 30-day notice for active subscribers)
- Modify these Terms (with notification by email and in-app)
Continued use of the App after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
You can terminate your account at any time via the "Delete my account" button in the app settings. This action is irreversible: all your data will be erased immediately.
We may suspend or terminate your account in case of serious violation of the Terms, fraud, or abusive use of the service.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
